2023 Water Quality Report Image

The City of Frisco is proud to let its customers know they receive safe, high-quality drinking water. Each year, the city provides an annual drinking water quality report to its water customers. Frisco’s water system has a Superior rating with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and exceeds all state and federal drinking water standards. To receive a printed version of this report, contact the Public Works Department at 972-292-5800.

The most recent information regarding our water quality can be found on the North Texas Municipal Water District's webpage that is dedicated to Water Quality Reports

Watering Recommendation: No watering is needed
The data from Frisco’s weather station is recommending that no watering is needed this week.

Reminder for all City of Frisco water users (residential & commercial)
  • Spray irrigation can only be used on your trash pick-up day
  • No spray irrigation between the hours of 10AM and 6PM
Check your soil moisture level before using irrigation. Use a moisture meter to check the needs of your lawn before running your irrigation system. Even with warmer temperatures, our clay soil can retain water for extended periods of time. Here is our moisture meter from the afternoon of Sunday, April 14th. The moisture in the ground is only from rain - the irrigation system has not been used on this lawn.
