Free Sprinkler System Check-Ups

In January 2023, WaterWise implemented scheduling changes to the free sprinkler system checkup program.

It is important to periodically check your sprinkler system to ensure that all components are in working order and functioning efficiently. Sprinkler system components are exposed to the elements, and over time they can develop inefficiencies that lead to water waste.

The City of Frisco offers free sprinkler system checkups for its residents.

This program saves Frisco homeowners millions of gallons of water, and helps keep water costs down. A City of Frisco licensed irrigator will guide you through your sprinkler system operation and evaluate its water-use efficiency. During your appointment, you will learn to:

Find and repair minor broken or misaligned sprinkler heads
Schedule adjustments to your controller
Increase your water-use efficiency outdoors with retro-fit devices, such as a smart controller or rain/freeze shut-off sensor YouTube Video

To schedule an appointment:

Residential Appointments: Use the myFRISCO app or call us at 972-292-5800.
Residential addresses with an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7 and 9) as their last digit can schedule a free checkup in odd number years .
Residential addresses with an even number (0, 2, 4, 6 and 8) as their last digit can schedule a free checkup in even number years.
