Purchasing

Prospective vendors are encouraged to make appointments with the departments that may utilize your goods or services. The City of Frisco will be periodically offering the general public the opportunity to bid on used fleet vehicles and used equipment through René Bates Auctioneers.

Vendor Registration

The City of Frisco utilizes Bonfire for its e-procurement solution. To get on the Purchasing Division’s vendor list to obtain automatic bid notices, and to submit bids electronically , please visit Friscotexas.bonfirehub.com.

Bids & Proposal Awards

The Frisco City Council makes the award of competitive sealed bids / proposals for purchases in excess of $50,000 during one of its regular meetings. Non-council bids and verbal or written quotations are awarded at the discretion of the using department. Once the award has been made, the award date and selected vendor is noted on the bid tabulation page.

Bid Submission

Competitive sealed bids/proposals must be submitted by the date and time noted to:
Purchasing Division
City of Frisco
6101 Frisco Square Boulevard
Frisco, TX 75034

Late bids/proposals will not be accepted for any reason and will be returned unopened. Sealed bids are publicly opened at a date, time, and location specified in the bid documents. Tabulations of sealed bids are normally available the day following the bid opening and may be obtained by calling the Purchasing Division, including a self-addressed stamped envelope with your submitted bid, or by accessing the city’s Bid Tabulation page. Sealed proposals are opened in a manner that avoids disclosure of the contents to competing offers and keeps the proposals confidential during negotiations.
