Black Box Theater

Put on a Production!

The Black Box Theater is an ideal performance and rehearsal venue for plays, improv, film screenings, recitals, concerts, talent shows, and more!

The Black Box Theater features:

Production-quality lighting and sound equipment
Mounted projector and video screen
Seating and risers for up to 100 guests
2,300 square feet, up to a total occupancy of 141 persons (this number includes technicians, audience, and performers)
Dressing room and Green room, each with a private bathroom
Concession area, equipped with a refrigerator, ice maker, and sink

Black Box Theater Booking

The Black Box Theater is open for booking on a first-come, first-served basis! In order to apply, please submit an application on our Frisco Discovery Center Rentals page; rates range from $35-$100 per hour. All clients must have a Certificate of Liability Insurance matching the requirements linked below.
