Music in the Chamber

Every third Friday from February to June. Concerts begin at 8 p.m.

Council Chambers – George A. Purefoy Municipal Center
6101 Frisco Square Blvd.


Each intimate concert will be held in the Council Chambers, a state-of-the-art, acoustically designed space by architects associated with NYC’s Radio City Music Hall.  

$10 for Frisco residents | $15 for nonresidents
Ages 8 and up are welcome.

May 17 - Anita Graef

Anita GraefAmerican cellist Anita Graef has garnered praise as a musician of “superb artistry” (Pasadena Now) who plays with “high energy and polish” (WQXR). She has appeared both nationally and internationally in concerto, recital and chamber music engagements, while establishing a reputation as an artist who is equally at home exploring traditional as well as contemporary works, along with a deep commitment to service, outreach and education. Notable appearances include features in Strings Magazine, as well as Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concert series, and “Concerts from the Library of Congress.” Check out Anita's music here.

June 21 - Dallas Chamber Choir

Dallas Chamber ChoirThe Dallas Chamber Choir, founded in 2014 as a 501c3 nonprofit performing arts organization by its Artistic Director & Conductor, Jon L. Culpepper, is a professional chorus of 24-30 singers who are classical musicians, music educators, and solo performing artists from North Texas. Its performance programs are diverse and expansive, covering over 500 years of choral literature of various stylistic, linguistic, and cultural significance with emphasis on composers whose music and texts explore a decidedly humanistic perspective.
