Community Captain Program

You can make a difference!

Community Captains are equipped to help keep Frisco environmentally aware with simple techniques aimed at raising our neighbors’ conservation literacy levels by participating in homeowners associations (HOA) and neighborhood events. In addition, we work together to raise awareness about living sustainably and protect and conserve Frisco’s natural areas.

Want to organize your own volunteer event? We are happy to help - email our Community Captain Coordinators!

Community Captains receive:

  • Volunteer opportunities to make a positive impact on the city of Frisco and our natural resources
  • Monthly emails with water relevant updates, upcoming events, initiatives, and programs
  • Tips and tools for conversation starters such as: door hangers, soil moisture meters, toilet leak detection tablets, images to share on social media, and more
  • Information to effectively answer questions about water-related issues affecting our city
  • Tours and workshops
