What is Pickleball?
Pickleball is a fun, easy-to-learn game that is taking cities around the country by storm with its growing popularity! Played as doubles or singles, Pickleball is an entertaining sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong.

Locations and Schedules

Public Parks 

Play Frisco offers Pickleball courts at Shawnee Trail Sports Complex and Warren Sports Complex.

  • Shawnee has 4 courts. Warren has 8 courts.
  • Please note that you need to bring your own Pickleball net for court setup.
  • Hours: 6:00 a.m. - 11:45 p.m.

Pickleball courts at City of Frisco parks are available to the public for free on a first-come, first-served basis. If you prefer to secure a court ahead of time, take advantage of the court reservation system, managed in partnership with Frisco Community Tennis.

  • Reservations cost $5.50 for a 90-minute timeslot.
  • Court reservations take priority over walk-ins.
  • You can reserve a court up to 7 days in advance.
  • Court reservations can be made on the Frisco Community Tennis app (available on iOS and Android) or on the FCT website.

Frisco Athletic Center

The FAC offers indoor pickleball courts for FAC Members and Day Pass or Pickleball Pass holders. Passes must be purchased in person at the front desk. The facility also hosts pickleball classes and private lessons. See upcoming pickleball classes and private lessons at the FAC.

The Grove at Frisco Commons

Frisco's active adult center has 2 Pickleball courts. They are reserved for Grove members Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. During that time, Grove members take priority over walk-ins. After 2 p.m. and all day on Sundays, the courts are open to all.

Pickleball classes may be held at The Grove. One pickleball court will be available during classes for open play.
