Political Campaign Sign Summary:

Below are some important highlights regarding Political Campaign Signs located in the City of Frisco. 

  1. Political signs cannot be placed on any City of Frisco, Community Development Corporation (CDC), or Economic Development Corporation (EDC) property or in a City of Frisco easement. 
  2. Political signs cannot be placed in the Right-of-Way (TxDot). More information regarding this is located on this webpage and titled TxDot Campaign Sign Regulations. 
  3. Political signs cannot be placed on a persons private property without their written consent (TxDot). More information regarding this is located on this webpage and titled TxDot Campaign Sign Regulations. 
  4. The City of Frisco logo cannot be used in any way for campaigning including on political signs. 
  5. For polling locations that are located on City property (i.e., Fire Stations) specific rules and regulations apply to those areas and can be found on this webpage and titled Fire Station Political Sign Boundaries, and City of Frisco Electioneering Ordinance. 
  6. Carefully review and note the list of prohibited sign types outlined in Section 70-18 of the City Sign Ordinance located on this webpage and titled City of Frisco Sign Ordinance. 
  7. Political Signs are considered temporary signs and are broken down into two categories (non-residential and residential). The regulations regarding these types of signs are located in Section 70-17 (subsection 9 and 10) located on this webpage and titled City of Frisco Sign Ordinance. These sections also describe the size requirements.
