Fire Prevention Office

The Frisco Fire Prevention Office (Fire Marshal's Office) services include fire inspections, review of fire protection system plans for development and construction, research and development of fire and life safety codes and ordinances and fire-related criminal investigations in an effort to protect the lives and property of all those who work, live or visit the City of Frisco.

The City of Frisco has adopted the following ordinances that involved Fire Prevention:

Fire Permits

Applications for all fire permits must be submitted online using the Plans and Permits portal. Additional information for setting up and account, submitting an application, paying fees and more can be found on the Fire Permit Guideline page.

Fire Inspections 

Fire inspectors inspect new construction of buildings and structures, and all existing commercial buildings and structures, to search for fire hazards and to ensure federal, state and local fire codes are met.  Additional information request an inspection and helpful guidelines can be found on the Inspections page.  

Flow Tests

Request a flow test by email.  Provide as much detail as possible about the location where the flow test needs to be performed.

Backflow Preventer  Information Request

Backflow preventers are required to be maintained by the City of Frisco Public Works Department.
