CLEAN (Community Litter and Environment Action Network) Frisco
Rufus wants you join our new CLEAN (Community Litter and Environment Action Network) Frisco program. Sign up at FriscoTexas.gov/volunteer. Scout an area where you can pick up trash or remove weeds in one of our parks (locations noted online). Pose with collection and send a selfie to volunteer@ friscotexas.gov. For every five hours you log picking up trash, you’ll be eligible to receive a reward, courtesy of our sponsor's Raising Cane's, Chik-fil-A or In-N-Out Burger. Once a month, Rufus will select the most 'PAWSitively Green' volunteer who will be featured in the next newsletter. So get out there and help keep Frisco PAWSitively CLEAN!
Natural Resources Division
The Natural Resources Division has ongoing opportunities aligned to our mission including prairie restoration (i.e., invasive species removal, seed ball making/distribution), garden maintenance, stream bank restoration and more! WaterWise - Community Captains work together with our WaterWise team to help advocate and educate on water conservation and other sustainable practices. For more information, email Natural Resources.
Frisco Police Volunteer Association
The Frisco Police Volunteer Association is a dynamic group of men and women who live, work and play in Frisco, Texas. They are educators, former Law enforcement, business and technology leaders who support the Frisco Police Department in delivering on its Mission and Vision. There are two levels of volunteer work: Department and Patrol. After initial training, volunteers can work in the jail, records department, community service as well as with special projects based upon skills. After further training, Patrol volunteers are able to actively patrol the streets and communities of Frisco in our Citizen Patrol marked vehicles. For more information please visit Frisco PVA.
Frisco Fire Safety Town Helping Hands - Weekday Adult Volunteers
Our staff of safety educators and firefighters is supplemented by our staff of volunteers known as Helping Hands. Our front desk greeters welcome visitors to our award winning facility as well as help with various administrative tasks. Our class assistants help with program related activities and ride time in the village. We do ask our volunteers to make a minimum commitment of a half day, once per week. Frisco Fire Safety Town Jr. Helping Hands - Summer Teen Volunteers
During the summer months, we utilize teen volunteers to supplement our regular staff to assist with our large numbers of visitors. Duties include assisting with classroom activities, assisting with bike riding time in the village and providing Safe and Sound Walk Around tours of the facility. Volunteer training is required. Frisco Heritage Museum

Library - Adult Services Volunteer
Adult Services volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and be familiar with library numbering systems. On site training will be provided. Flexible shifts are available from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. Please contact the Adult Volunteer Team at 972-292-5669 for more information.
Library - VolunTEEN Corps for Teen Volunteering
The Frisco Public Library VolunTEEN Corps is a community service initiative that offers middle and high school students, grades 6-12, an opportunity for civic involvement at the library. The VolunTEEN Corps is comprised of the Frisco Advisory Board (grades 6-12) and the Frisco Action Board (grades 10-12). Visit the library’s website for more information about the program.
The Grove at Frisco Commons
Volunteers can assist at the new adult activity center with daily activities, offer time as a photographer, join our kitchen and coffee club committees and more!
