Positive Police Interaction

Positive Police Interaction Header

The Positive Police Interaction program is designed to build the relationship between the special needs community and the police through conversation, education, and practical exercise.

This course is intended for students between the ages of 15 and 24 who have special needs and will be or are currently operating a motor vehicle. Parents and guardians are welcome to join the conversation with their students, as we learn and grow in understanding and respect.

The course is approximately one hour in length with limited seating. The first half will consist of a presentation and discussion, while the second half of the class will be scenario-based training to get the students comfortable interacting with the police in a positive manner.
