Angelia Pelham, like many professional women, wears many hats. She is a wife, a mother, a 32- year Human Resources executive, and an entrepreneur leading her own Executive Coaching & Consulting firm, Real-Talk Executive Coaching & Mentoring focused on human capital management, leadership development, diversity & inclusion strategy, and executive coaching of women in the workplace.  Her firm is in Frisco, TX at Frisco Station.  She is inspiring, passionate, and is a changemaker. 

Angelia has had a successful career for the last 32 years as an HR executive with such brands as Walt Disney World, PepsiCo, and Frito-Lay. She has held such positions as Vice President, Human Resources at PepsiCo, Frito-Lay, and Yum Brands.  She has also served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Main Event Entertainment, Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer for Cinemark Holdings and Chief HR Officer, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Dave & Busters.  

She has been featured in such diverse publications as Black Enterprise Magazine, Savoy Magazine, and Plano Profile.  Angelia is a native of Florida; born in Pensacola, FL. She holds a BS from Florida State University and a master’s degree from Rollins College. 

Angelia is active in community and non-profit leadership; she has served as the Campaign Treasurer for the city of Frisco’s incumbent Mayor, Jeff Cheney. She is on the board of Medical City Plano and Medical City Frisco hospitals.  She is also a Board member of Family Resource Home Care, a private equity backed portfolio company of Great Point Financial.   Angelia has chaired for the last twelve years the non-profit, Linking Cultures of Frisco, which hosts an annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Oration Gala providing thousands of dollars in scholarships each year to Frisco High School seniors.  And recently, Angelia became the first African American female to be elected as a Frisco City Council Member, Place 3 in Frisco, Texas.

Angelia has been married to her college sweetheart for 32 years; and they have one daughter who is 19 years old and a rising Sophomore at Columbia University in New York. Angelia and her family enjoy traveling abroad and have visited 25 countries and counting...
