The coloring book for 2023 was designed by students in the Frisco ISD Career and Technical Education Center's graphic design program and features Frisco youth showcasing what actions they take, For A Better Tomorrow

Rufus and the Green Team: Contamination Wars

In this issue, Rufus and the Green Team stop their arch nemesis, Contamination! But they aren't able to do this without you and all of the residents in Frisco. Rufus and his friends will help you sort out your trash from your recycling and teach you how to recycle right in Frisco! Through fun games you'll keep the contamination from the recycling and save the day!

Don't forget to e-mail in the pledge on the back page along with a photo to be featured as a character in our next coloring book. Superheroes For the Environment: Cafeteria Recycling Edition!

Join Rufus and the Green Team to learn about recycling in the cafeteria. Rufus teaches us how to be Superheroes for the Environment by sorting common trash and recycle items in the cafeteria! Superheroes can power-up by choosing to refuse single-use cafeteria options for reuse items. E-mail in the pledge on the last page along with your photo for a chance to be featured in the next edition of our coloring book! Green Your Footprint

Frisco's youth makes a positive impact on our environment. The winners from our latest photo contest were featured as the Superheroes for the Environment showing what they do to 'green' their footprints. Send in the pledge on the back with a photo to be featured in our next edition of our coloring book! Plastic Bag Blues

This activity book reminds us that we can recycle plastic bags in Frisco, but they can't go in your blue cart! Bring bags to our Environmental Collection Center (6616 Walnut Street), or bring them to school. Every Frisco school accepts batteries, plastic bags, ink cartridges, cell phones and shoes for recycling or reuse.
