Planning

We provide plan review, technical assistance, coordination and advisory services to city officials, boards, and committees on issues involving land use planning, zoning, economic development, open space design, smart growth, and downtown redevelopment. Tools used in this endeavor include:

Development of master plans, such as the Comprehensive Plan and the Downtown Master Plan.
Creation of design guidelines, such as the US 380 Overlay District Guidelines and the Facade Plan Booklet.
Review of projects that come before the Planning & Zoning Commission.
