Neighborhoods

Five Star Neighborhoods

The Five Star Neighborhood Program recognizes Homeowners Associations (HOAs) that take pride in their communities. The City appreciates HOAs and understands the commitment involved to maintain quality neighborhoods. Membership in the Five Star Neighborhood Program indicates an HOA’s effort to promote effective communication, management, and community involvement.

The Five Star Neighborhood Program provides signage for member HOAs in their neighborhoods, as well as recognition on the City website that can be shared within the community and throughout the city. With nearly 150 HOAs in Frisco, it is essential to provide a road map that leads to great neighborhoods. Important factors to consider include:

  • Knowledgeable board leadership
  • Experienced management
  • Communication
  • Fiscal responsibility

Homeowners Association Directory

The City maintains a HOA Directory of property management companies and board members. The voluntary registration helps with communicating with HOAs regarding City activities.

Submit this form to update information on the HOA Directory and be included in the mailing list.

Gate Codes

The Police Department needs to have community gate and facility access codes in case of an emergency. HOA board members should ensure their community’s Pool and Amenities Center Emergency Contact Information Form (PDF) is filed and up-to-date with the Police Department.
