Living Legacy Tree Program

Honor or recognize the accomplishments of an individual or group with Play Frisco's Living Legacy Tree Program. Celebrate a birthday, anniversary, graduation, or memorialize a loved one.

Trees may be planted in several locations within our beautiful neighborhood and community parks. Along with a planted tree, a permanent bronze 6 by 6-inch plaque will be placed at the base of the tree. The cost of each tree, professional planting, and placement of the bronze plaque is $500. The process takes 6 to 7 weeks from application to planting.

Applications are currently closed. Applications are open annually from September 1 to April 1.

Living Legacy trees are planted from October to April to give the young trees the best foundation for growth outside of the hotter months.

Tree Varieties

The trees offered for the Living Legacy program grow well in Frisco. Varieties include Bur Oak, Cedar Elm, Gingko Biloba, Thornless Honey Locust, Lacey Oak, Red Oak, Texas Redbud, and Viburnum "Snowball." You can see photos of each tree below!
