Stop the Bleed Classes

Interested in learning more about how to help in an emergency? The Frisco Fire Department offers a free 'Stop the Bleed' class for people who live or work in Frisco. Attendees will learn the basics of bleeding control.

Stop the Bleed classes are offered every other month on the third Wednesday from 6:30-9:00 p.m. January, March, May, July, September and November each year.  Registration is available on the first day of the month the class is offered.

The class is limited to 16 students and is open to those 10 and up (all minors must be accompanied by an adult;  one adult can register up to two minors.) Classes will be held at a fire station. Your confirmation email will include location information.

Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action, encouraging bystanders to become trained, equipped and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
