Brainstorming 'Open House' About the Rail District to be Held June 20

(June 16, 2023) Share your ideas for redeveloping Frisco’s historic downtown, The Rail District, during an Open House on Tuesday, June 20.  The event will be held inside the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd.

The public meeting will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. in space once occupied by the library on the fourth floor of City Hall.

City of Frisco Development Services has hired Velocity Group to lead the brainstorming effort.

“With help from our consultants, we’ll be asking people ‘what’s working, what’s not, what’s missing,’” said John Lettelleir, Director of Development Services.

Velocity Group will also be gathering feedback from downtown merchants, members of the city’s Downtown Advisory Board, as well as City Council.  The City Council will review results during its work session later this month.
